Father's Day

Yes, I know it's late, but my computer ate all of my pics.

My oldest son wanted to get hubby an Edible Arrangement for Father's Day. I was game. We love fruit. When I went to their website and got a look at the prices though, it was a little difficult to go through with it.

Honestly, for me, it's a little pricey when all you're getting is fruit. But, it is Father's Day and the boyos have declared it to be so.

Here's what we got.

Isn't it gorgeous! I was really surprised by how much we actually got. It came with a balloon too, but I didn't get a good picture of it. We dug in as soon as it was delivered.

I love the pineapple daisies and the apples were dipped in dark chocolate. Yum-oh.

And, this is what you get after four hungry boys dig in. Can you tell what it is? It's lettuce! They stuck a head of iceberg lettuce down in the cute little bucket and put pretty leafy greens on top. Then they used those plastic sticks to keep the fruit where they wanted it.

Will I get another one? Probably. After I quit coughing up a lung for this one. ;)
